Mon June 29 impression
Wed Jul 01, 2020 2:34 pm
We're trying to create a distinct impression. The exercise we did IN class, we can keep doing and set the timer for 15 minutes at a time, besides the specific instructions in the middle with what to do with the object. Plus the former exercises getting to know this object.
Breath, relax
Say what the object is.
See it in my mind.
When truly see, pick it up and bring to my face.
Jon tells us to do something specific to do with it, while still keeping the image.
Move it to your face, keep it there.
Tell him what it is again? (I wrote that down..)
Set it down.
My critique was to not skip steps and not listen to my own voices.
"Walking a tight rope, and suddenly having to turn around and walk back, I'ts ok to have to think about it"
The foreground and the backround together in 2D, brings the object in relation to everything.
"The best acting is un-self concious"

Yeah, try to do all the steps. Little by little you will see why.
