1. Getting your environment back
2. Sensory Work

Exercise Steps --->
a) Choose your environment and how you will be present in it (sitting, standing, lying)
b) Close your eyes and take in the sound(s) by letting it bounce off your ear drum at far, medium, and close distance
c) Then take in the smell(s) and the direction that it comes from
d) Now experience how the environment feels ON and IN the body
e) Draw what you see in your head
f) Now draw again "seesawing" what you see from left to right

B. How did the learning affect me?

The learning helped allow me to work on sensory perception at different depths (far, medium, close) unlike before which further helped me focus on specifics within my environment.

C. Did Jon say anything quotable?

"An actor who can control their environment is like their weight in gold!"

HOMEWORK

a) Observe a single person. Anybody who is not you! Really watch them when they are relatively still, but observe what they are doing. Record 30-40 secs of them, and then imitate them physically; even if they are talking. Find someone really different and unlike you. No cartoons! You'll have to re-enact the 30-40 seconds for the class, and then Jon is going to give s a scenario to extend the character; who we think the character should be.

b) Try working a different environment than the previous week
