Characters Monday Empty Characters Monday

The last class was slightly tense, but I guess we needed it. The exercise was continuing the 30 second scenes, and having a tweek of characteristic. It was very entertaining to see Geoff and Evelyn improv with opposing emotions. We are supposed to do a new character every week, from here on out. Tonight, we are performing one of the opposite sex, but making it slightly more gender fitting. Keeping the essence of who they are at the core. I am stoked to have this discipline with consequences, as now we won't be starting with nothing for building a character for auditions with quick turn arounds. The first things with improv are the where, what, and who, Then the relationships to other characters. We need to take advantage of our space.
