A. What did you learn (specifically)?

You have to experience the environment and get in touch with it quickly! Establishing the environment is more than just showing the environment but also experiencing it!

B. How did the learning affect me?

My mind drifted during the exercise, and I got stuck in a memory that made it very difficult for me to regain focus and slow my heart rate back down quickly. A classmate (sorry your name is slipping my mind right now) shared a technique to help with re-centering which involved identifying the following:

5 Things I Can See
4 Things I Can Hear
3 Things I Can Smell
2 Things I Can Touch
1 Thing I Can Taste
